Why you shouldn’t quit

Some days my head is consumed with so many thoughts I don’t know where to begin blogging. And then when I try to pare them down, I give up because they are too numerous. Or when I put fingers to keyboard, I fall short of how fabulous it sounded in my head. Or I run out of time.

I wish I could express my thoughts in a flowery, poetic way, like accomplished writers of novels and prose – and then I find out I’m just average. And it makes me want to quit.

Fact of the matter is, writing is HARD WORK.

But, so are a lot of other things.

Maybe, for you, it’s a job you were thinking about getting. Or degree. Or an online class you were going to take. That project you were going to tackle. A volunteer position that’s out of your comfort zone. A book you were going to write. An amend you were going to make.

Perhaps that famous Nike slogan, “JUST DO IT” remains as relevant today as when it first became part of our everyday vernacular.

Or better still, could we relate to a passage from scripture to help us get off the proverbial pot?

What holds you back from getting in the game?
