JOIN THE FIFTY BUCK CHALLENGE

THE STORY:fifty bucks

Last December, I happened to have some cash in my wallet, a $50 Bill to be exact.  I told myself that I would keep it there until God told me how to use it to help someone else.  Since it was Christmas time, this seemed a natural inclination, to help someone else less fortunate.

One evening in December while doing errands, I saw a broken down car at a busy intersection.  I instantly thought about giving the $50 bill away to the distressed motorists, but it seemed “too hard and complicated” at the time.

After that night, I couldn’t stop thinking about the Fifty Bucks.  I was filled with remorse.  I knew I  had missed a golden opportunity to be used by God, so I prayed for a Second Chance and kept that “Grant” in my wallet waiting for God to show me where to give it away.

Just about a month later, God gave me another chance.  Read all about it here.

After sharing my experience with others and hearing that others were inspired to do the same, the idea of the “Plant a Grant – Fifty Buck Challenge” was born.

HOW DO I TAKE THE CHALLENGE?

  1. Put a $50 bill in your wallet  (or another bill of your choosing)
  2. Pray for God’s direction how to use it.
  3. Act in obedience when He presents you the opportunity to give away your Grant.
  4. Share your story with others on our  “Plant a Grant” Facebook Page!
